IDIOPATHIC CYSTITIS - due to the high moisture content of wet food, Urinary S/O Feline increases urine dilution. As idiopathic cystitis accounts for nearly 64% of cases of FLUTD, a wet diet should be preferred in cases of recurring cystitis.
STRUVITE DISSOLUTION - helps dissolves struvite uroliths.
LOW RSS - helps lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation.
URINE DILUTION - urine dilution makes the urine less liable to form struvite and calcium oxalate uroliths. The larger urinary volume also ensures regular bladder washout.
